Louise qualified in 1989, in London and China, and practiced acupuncture in London from 1989 until 1994, both in general acupuncture practice and in a children's acupuncture clinic which she set up .
In 1994 Louise moved to Copenhagen to work with a Danish doctor who also practiced acupuncture. Together they ran a busy broad based acupuncture practice, and investigated the outcomes for patients when both Western medicine and Chinese medicine were formally combined - with patients ranging from the new born to the elderly.
From 1999 to date Louise has practiced in London and West Sussex, and lectured at the University of Westminster on the acupuncture degree programme.
